Why: Prior version needed clearer empirical grounding and visualization aids.

Locked Corrections (Major)

• O₁ as generative: Changed from "empty center" to "generative position"
• Infinite divisibility: Mathematical reason for unoccupiability made explicit
• Measurement crisis: Static position incoherent, rotation necessary
• Continuous transformation: No origin from void, no collapse into void
• Euler's identity: Explicit Contrast/Rotation/Closure encoding
• Three requirements: Formalized as core pattern

Why: v0.985 had conceptual drift. O₁ was being described with "emptiness" language that confused the framework's core claim.

Formalization Round

Why: Needed more rigorous mathematical grounding and explicit uncertainty.

These versions established the basic framework. Later versions corrected and refined.

Earlier work existed but wasn't versioned systematically. The v0.978+ series represents the formalized framework.

Key insight: Version numbering started when we realized we needed to track corrections, not just additions.

If you encounter an earlier version:

1. Check the version number. Pre-v0.986 documents may use "empty center" language.
2. Note the date. Earlier documents may lack locked corrections.
3. Prefer current version. Later versions correct earlier errors.
4. Core claims are stable. V₀ prohibition, O₁ existence, and three requirements haven't changed - only their articulation has improved.

"Version history is evidence of honesty. A framework that never corrects itself either got everything right the first time (unlikely) or isn't paying attention to its mistakes."

RSM improves through explicit correction. Each version notes what changed and why. This is deliberate: we want mistakes to be visible and their fixes traceable.

Planned for future versions:

No roadmap is fixed. The framework develops in response to critique.
